Thank you Hannah, I'm so happy to hear that something in Jennifer's piece resonated with you. Your grace and gratitude for mothering and toward yourself, your honesty and openness are beautiful. Take care of yourself, perfection is over-rated. xo, Danielle

What an amazing interview. I can relate to so much of this. The past year has been for me a sort of cruel awakening to the fact that I can't consistently sacrifice and channel my energies towards providing a "perfect" and "safe" childhood bubble for my children while I let my own soul languish. It is SO hard to loosen my grip on my ideals, and the only reason I am is because my health was suffering for it. I find myself in a position to feel more gracious to other people who have made different life choices than me and who don't parent the way I do. I still have a long way to go (and grow)... but I guess I always will. ;) Thank you for sharing Jennifer and Danielle!
