Lately I've been focusing on getting the most use possible out of my possessions so that, even if they didn't start out as a sustainable item, I will minimize the waste involved before replacing them with something more eco-friendly. Hence I am using up the plastic scrub brush in my kitchen while the lovely wooden one with natural bristles (and a replaceable head!) that sings to my soul awaits downtown. Each time I use it, I have the opportunity to reflect on my choices and strengthen my resolve to make better ones.
