This woman and I are so alike. I also think of the Tibetans whenever I want to hold onto something. The quotes and stories she offered are the same ones inside my head. I love the monkey story and need to bring that one back into my rotation at home! haha
I hope she has begun to stop documenting more. It seriously frees up so much time. I was never about that and still have yet to open the CD given to me with my daughter's newborn pictures (she's 2). Great interview questions and answers!

In reply to <a href="https://hippieindisguise.com/interview-with-a-minimalist-claudia/#comment-424">Dee Dee</a>.

Hi Dee Dee, thanks for your comment. I, personally, don't think there is one way to do minimalism, and the only trait that I feel is common to minimalism in general, is the idea that less is more. This can be applied in so many ways and to different aspects of life and design. Often this is applied to interior decor, by having fewer things --> only things that are really valued and add to your enjoyment of life on a regular basis. Minimalism is also a decor trend, and this is definitely where you see a lot of white. It's the idea of a blank slate, less colour, less stimulation via pattern and design, to leave space for contemplation and less clutter. However, you (in my view) definitely be a minimalist and have patterned wall paper in every room! It's the distinction, in part, between minimalist lifestyle and minimalist decor.
